These terms cover the Stoop mobile app and this website. By using either, you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be impressive — if something here is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

1. Using Stoop

You need to be at least 13 to use Stoop. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself. Do not use Stoop to break the law, to harass anyone, or to interfere with how the service runs for other people.

2. What you post

You can send in news tips and community events. You keep ownership of what you submit, and you give us permission to publish, display, and edit it within Stoop so it can appear in the guide.

Submit only what is yours to submit, and keep it accurate. Please do not post:

In short: submissions are reviewed by an editor before anything is published. We can decline or remove a submission, and we can suspend an account that keeps breaking these rules.

3. Content from other publishers

Much of what Stoop shows is summarised from, and links to, local news outlets, venues, and ticketing sites. That reporting belongs to those publishers, and reading the full story means going to their site. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their availability.

4. Events and listings

Event times, venues, and prices come from third parties and from neighbors, and they change. Check with the venue before you set out. We do not sell tickets and are not a party to anything you buy from someone we link to.

5. The service can change

Stoop is early, and features will come and go. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. You can stop using Stoop at any time and delete your account from inside the app.

6. No warranty, and limits on liability

Stoop is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or that everything in it will be correct.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Stoop. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

7. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and tell you in the app where it matters. Continuing to use Stoop after that means you accept the new terms.
